Cass Street Automotive is fast and efficient! They are honest and reliable. They replaced my alternator and valve gasket. I had problems with the new alternator shortly after and they replaced it with a different one and didn't charge me for labor or parts because I was covered by their waranitiy. This businesses sticks to their word!

Just had my last appointment here today before we move cross country. Always loved the service here-Jeremy is great. They don't pressure you into having services done that you don't need and prices were always reasonable. I'll miss them!

I was referred here by a friend who swears by Randy's shop. I called right when they opened and they were able to get my 2008 335i sedan in for an inspection right away. I've been to two auto shops and the dealer who all could not figure out why my oil was leaking. I dropped off the car- grabbed some brunch down the street and boom they called to let me know what was going on. They found the problem right away and even told me it might be best to go to the dealer to get fixed since it was such a big job. Knowing when to punt to the expert is key when it comes to import autos. They even called the dealer to price it out for me. They were told it would possible to do the repair outside of dealer even with its complications, but I would rather invest in a new car instead. Very trustworthy guys and were honest in their diagnosis of the problem. I ended up selling my car and buying a new one, but will def be a repeat customer. Great customer service! So hard to find an auto shop that you feel as a woman you're not getting taken advantage of.

Jeremy was very helpful, fast and gave me no pressure into fixing things that didn't need to be fixed. I took my Jetta in for my back brakes and was immediately greeted and asked about my car. The maintenance took an hour and they also changed my air filter as well as am oil change. I definitely recommend this place to anyone who needs maintenance on their cars.

Dropped the car off this morning with my friend Randy Begin at Cass Street Auto for a quick diagnostic and brake fluid flush. Everything checked out great AND the bill was super cheap. Much cheaper than what I would have paid at BMW AND I didn't have to leave Pacific Beach. I even walked myself home after dropping off my car and walked back to pick it up same day. Sweet!!!

Great auto shop! Fast, friendly, informative. Ive been there twice now and did not have to wait, they got started on my car right away. Jeremy even took me out to the garage to explain some suspicious tire wear. On my first trip I was getting a synthetic oil change, about $100. Jeremy accidentally quoted me for a much less expensive regular oil change. Since it was his mistake he ended up giving me the synthetic change at the regular price! Classy move. I wont be going anywhere else for auto service! Highly recommended.

Short version: Friendly, fast, professional, honest. I would highly recommend this place and I will certainly go there again. Long version: First of all, I am a young, blonde woman so mechanics often try and dupe me into paying for repairs I don't need. Little do they know, my dad and brother are mechanics (in a different state) so I have decent car knowledge and people I can easily refer to. So, when my car over heated I was able to diagnose that it was a broken water pump. I called many different places to get quotes and, when I called Cass St. Automotive, Jeremy was friendly and helpful and gave me a reasonable quote right away (the quotes from all of the places ranged from $250 to $450 and Cass St. came in right in the middle at $350). I got a good vibe from him over the phone (he seemed honest, knowledgable, and fair) so I decided to go with Cass St. Automotive and I am certainly glad I did! I called the morning I wanted to bring my car in and made sure they had an opening and that I could be towed there. They said, "Absolutely! Come on in." When I arrived, Jeremy was working the front desk. He was friendly, assessed the problem right away, confirmed that it was my water pump, and had it fixed within 2 hours. Want to know what made the experience even better? The price was lower than he originally quoted ($318). Also, he said I could hang there in the office and watch tv (netflix included) or that there were plenty of restaurants and shops near by and listed a few of his favorites. I followed his advice and walked a block down to fig tree cafe and had a delicious drink and a sandwich. When my car was ready, he didn't try and convince me that there were other issues with my car, didn't try and charge me for random stuff - just rang me up for exactly what was done: water pump replacement. He said they checked all belts and hoses too to make sure there weren't any other contributing factors to my car overheating. These guys are great. They are high-spirited, friendly, goofy and love what they do. Jeremy has been in the buiz a long time and said he couldn't be happier with what he is doing. Go here. Plain and simple.

Great Service! I didn't end up paying beyond what was quoted initially. They assessed the situation, made a quote, and did the job. Just like that! No BS, no hassle. No unnecessary services or parts. They are very knowledgeable and friendly. They would educate you on how to deal with sneaky auto body shops that try to screw with you, especially if you are a female.
